I have to admit I was a bit skeptical of the overall quality and make up of this Black & Decker flashlight. That ended when I slapped in my 20 volt lithium battery. This flashlight has proved to come in quite handy. With up to 70 lumens it does provide a great deal of light. I really like the multi-position LED light bar. Besides being a lite weight the handle on this rig has a great ergonomic feel. It definitely has gotten a workout from a variety of tasks in the home, garage and even at work. When we lost power I put it to the real test and got about 12 hours of light before it was time to replace the battery. This flashlight came in handy last month when I was changing a flat tire at night. No doubt this Black & Decker BDCF20 flashlight is a worthwhile investment. For under twenty bucks its a bargain. I can easily recommend it.

I love this area light as it makes sense IF you already have the batteries from the other tools, which extends the versatility of the system. I'm not too sure I'd buy this as my sole stand-alone flashlight.

I also use it as a controlled-discharger for those times when I want to store my batteries with less than a full charge. Yes, you can store them fully charged, but hardcore fans of these batteries may want to drop them back before a long term storage. RC flyers know what I mean.

Without getting too deeply involved, I'll just charge the battery fully, and then run the light for 2 hours before storing them in a cool place during the off season. I can take it further, but would rather leave that to the RC groups for explanation.
